Sunday Hike - Hawes, Yorkshire Dales

This hike can be sold simply in two words: FREE CHEESE. Yes, really! Hawes is the home of the famous Wensleydale creamery where Wallace’s favourite cheese is birthed into the world, and it comes complete with a free tasting room. There’s also some of the highest fells in the Dales and passes used by the Tour de France two years ago to walk it all off. There will be a nav training element to this hike over the surrounding fells also, but let’s face it the free food is the main attraction.
