Weekly eNews - 2nd November

Greetings Hikers!

Unfortunately Rose is currently having her arm seen to in hospital following a fall in Snowdonia this weekend so I've been given the illustrious task of sending out the weekly email... risky business indeed! Get well soon Rose :) I hope those of you who went to Snowdonia this weekend had a fab time - looks like the weather was slightly better than the Lake District weekend - looking forward to hearing all about it! Thanks also to those of you who come along to the Otley Run in all of your hilarious Cowboy & Indians outfits - I hope you all had a great night & didn't suffer too much in the morning... I certainly did! Big thanks to Sheriff Collins for keeping us all in check & organising everything :)

Miller's Dale Sunday hike, Alton Towers, Wednesday Social.

Miller's Dale Sunday Hike

This week our Sunday Hike is to Miller's Dale, a narrow gorge cutting through the white peak area of the beautiful Peak District. The valley used to have a railway line which has now been converted into a path allowing us to walk through the old tunnels and over the old viaducts. The valley sides are covered in caves to explore too! This hike will be £10 & sign up will be as usual at 1pm on Wednesday in Room 3 in the Union - see you there!

Alton Towers

For those of you who have signed up for trip to Alton Towers this weekend, keep an eye on Facebook this week for all the details!

Wednesday Social

We will be having our usual social in the Library Pub this week at 8.30pm on Wednesday - however if you're keen to watch the fireworks in Hyde Park then we will be meeting at the Victoria Statue at 7pm ready for the fireworks to start at 7.30pm so we can get a good spot to watch! From there we'll head over to the pub for some drinkypoos & maybe even a cheeky £2.50 burger?!

Thanks guys & HAPPY BIANCO!
