Hello lovely hikers 
Another great week! Thanks so much to Matt for his Alpine talk  and I hear the Brecon Beacons trip this weekend was brilliant, sadly it’s the last weekend trip of the year but there will be plenty more next semester!

Flamborough Head

8.30am, Sunday 30th December, 2014
Next Sunday we will be heading to Flamborough Head. ‘The best chalk coastline in the North! This headland is covered in arches, coves, stacks and hidden beaches with cliffs 135m high! A brilliant coastal walk’. The cost of the trip will be £12. You can sign up in room 3 of the union at 1.30pm this Wednesday!

6pm, Tuesday 2nd December, 2014 and Tuesday, December 9, 2014
There are two opportunities in December to have a go on Ellis Brigham's awesome indoor ice wall. All gear will be provided. Sign up for this will be 1.30pm in room 3 of the union this Wednesday.

 

Library Pub and Bierkeller social

6pm, Wednesday 26th November, 2014
This week we will meet at the Library pub at 6pm for burgers and pre-drinks, and then we will head into town to Bierkeller! Everyone is welcome

Winter briefing and international summer trip presentation

7pm, Wednesday 10th December, 2014, location TBC.
Come along to this meeting if you are interested in joining us on either of the Winter Trips to Scotland! It is mandatory that you to attend the briefing if you want to come on the trips. We will also be giving you all the info about the international trip at the end of this meeting
