Socials
Obviously the LUUHC isn't always about walking.... we have a very active social agenda too... let me talk you through it.
The hiking club is traditionally renowned for its Real Ale drinkers and Sunday trips to the curry house (yum!), but if this isn't your scene then don't be disheartened as there are plenty of varied socials being organised for this year...!
Weekly social - Starts at The Eldon in Leeds (opposite the Leeds Uni Mechanical Engineering Building) on Wednesdays at 8pm. Here is the address if you would like to search for it on Google Maps:

After The Eldon we head off to another venue for the rest of the evening - this venue is usually chosen week by week by the social secretary. Look to the LUUHC facebook page for social updates!
Trip Socials - every LUUHC trip away ends up in a party of some description... whether it be a competitive game sock wrestling, pub quizzing, easter egg hunting, vodka jelly eating, courgette munching, team building, game playing... oh the list goes on. Just come along to a weekend trip or you have missed out!
Christmas meal - This is a very posh affair as the dress code is Black Tie. Just to prove that we can all scrub up well! This is one of THE best nights of the year, so make sure you come along!
Bonfire Night - We usually have a Bonfire and fireworks on the Wednesday nearest the 5th November in place of our usual pub social, always a fun night!
There will be many other socials leading into the second semester from a potential Brewery Tour to Theakstons, Paintballing with the Mountaineers, Dog Racing evening and the traditional summer BBQ. Watch this space for more info!
