It’s time to head to the mountains! Braithwaite lies in the northern Lake District, and is close to an extensive variety of routes. Whether you want hidden valleys to discover, or airy ridges to scramble along, all are nearby. Possible routes are Blencathra, the famous Striding Edge on Helvellyn, the Grisedale Horseshoe and the beautiful lake and mountains of Buttermere. Our weekend trips are always a great way to get to know everyone in the club that little bit better, have a laugh, get out into the mountains and escape the city!
